I just looooooove wrapping presents. Because I know that a person I love and care about will smile and feel good  and Iiiii get to give it to them. :)
For the past 3 days I have considered myself a genius.
Because, I passed ALGEBRA! WITH AN A!!!!!! A VERY HIGH LEVEL A!
Oh yeah, I'm a genius.
Seriously, I have no idea where I got the concentration for 3 hours. I'm usually all over the place somehow :D

As I sit here with my green tea, my apple pie and a good book, I can't help but think that life is wonderful :D

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

The main thing is to show them you don't care. Let them think and do what they want, let them drown in their lies, let them be whoever they think they are. You don't care. It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter at all.

This song is stuck in my head. I like it, and so far I haven't gotten tired of it, though it keeps on going around and around and around in my head...:D
I'm wondering what it would be like to fly...Probably magical. Hmmm...

Now I'm wondering how to fly. So far my only solution is lucid dreaming.

The fact that I don't know how to lucid dream is a problem...I've already tried, it doesn't seem to work.

I'm not the kind of person who gives up, but...

Maybe it's time for plan B...Hmmm

I wonder, is shopping really all a girl needs to make her feel better? Seriously, is it that easy? Because, I just got the most amazing skirt and some jewelry and I do feel better in some ways...in others my head is going craaaazy!

Please, please, please give me a recipe for love. I'm begging you!

Oh, yeah. AND I finished my task for today! I finally got around to writing the essay. The hardest part for me is always setting myself down and starting. After that it all just flows. As long as I don't stop and take a break. Because then I have to start the whole "setting myself down" process aaaall over again! XD

Oh, AND they've finally opened up a Dunkin' Doughnuts in Moscow! Yipeeeeee! :D

Sasha
Today I spent some quality time with my mom. It felt so good. I love my mom so so much and I sometimes I can't help but feel that I don't get enough of her to myself. So today I told her all about what's going on in my life that she doesn't already know. There are some moments when I wonder whether we're from completely different worlds or not, but those are rare. More often I am ecstatic about my wonderful relationship with my mom and how lucky I am to have her. So, not only did I get some awesome clothes, but I also had an amazing day with one of my heroes. My mom :*

Sasha
Just wonderful, I have to write a 350 word essay on why I want to take this summer course and now I get writers block? ARGH! >|

The beauty of music.

You can hear it in the wind, in the rustling of the trees, in the roaring of the waves of the ocean, you can hear it in the quiet and stillness of the night. It's all around you. In every shape and size. Music is our permanent companion from birth until death. If only everybody knew that...I love music. And living without it...I can't even imagine. Whenever I play the piano or sing a song, or just listen to what's going on around me I never fail to be amazed by the beauty of it all. I am so thankful that my life is blessed with music and I hope it will always be that way. :)

I am officially a vegetarian :) I don't know, a few days ago something just clicked and I knew that i couldn't eat the meat on my plate. It wasn't even a matter of whether I wanted to, I just couldn't. I\m not very strict about my diet though. I still eat fish (my mom says i have to) and I'll eat meat at guests, but other than that, I don't eat any meat, at all. I\ve already figured out what kind of food I need that I'm not getting enough of without the meat...:) I'm glad, because I am helping make the world a better place. Maybe it's just a teencie little bit, but I am. :)

I'm finally getting some writing in :) Yey :)
I love it when the night sky is filled with white clouds :)

I guess some thoughts are much better off safely inside my head. They seem so logical there, but when I try to put them in to words...Wow, I really start to feel like a lunatic :}

Do you ever feel like you're just floating on a huge cloud of nothingness?

Sunday, April 11, 2010

I realized something today. When I was asked for the gazillionth time where I liked it better: in Moscow or DC and when I answered the way I usually do, I understood that I was speaking the complete and absolute truth. I've always said that I like both places, both cities. But today I really meant it. I've always considered DC my hometown and Moscow was my hometown too...In theory. But today I can honestly say that I love Moscow. As much as I love DC. I love every single part of it.

When first coming to Moscow, it's kind of like meeting someone out of the ordinary for the first time. But first impressions aren't always the best, and you certainly can't judge Moscow by them. You have to get to know the city, get used to it's ways. Because, just like people, it has both good and bad qualities. But the best thing to do is to open your eyes and mind, and the beauty of Moscow will show itself to you. I've opened my eyes, and I know that I can call Moscow the same way I call DC: Home.

Saturday, April 10, 2010

It's finally warm here in Moscow :) Spring, hurray :) And I can't even be upset about my allergies, I'm to happy because of the Spring :) It's beautiful out :)

More drama.

My school is very small...This means that there are only 11 people in my grade. We have all of our classes together and know each other pretty well. There are 5 girls. Two are a bit...eclusive I guess. They're not mean or anything, it's just that they'd rather be alone together than have someone else in there class sit with them...And then are two other girls that..well they're what I would call on-and-off BFs. And then there's me. You know just the person whose always smiling, is the class...ensyclopedia or whatever...(basically I'm the only one who does all her homework) Oh yeah, and whenever someones lonely, or they're friend is out sick or they get in to a fight with they're friend - I'm the one they go to.  Right now I spend most of my time with the two girls who are always fighting. ANd we're actually not bad friends. Confusing? I know.

So here's the thing: One of them is in hospital with some kind of stomache flu and her friend didn't call her or anything to ask her how she was. Though she knows perfectly well what's wrong with her friend. And then the only reason she contacted her at the hospital once had to do with someones birthday and how she was fed up with something. Anyway, now the girl who's sick feels pretty hurt. I don't blame her. And I don't know what to do, because I have a feeling I might be sucked in to the middle of this, if I'm not already in the middle...

Oh well, we'll see on Monday.

Please let me know if this even mad sense. :}

My brother's SO SO SO amazing! He got in to the final of a REALLY big tournament! And he's playing today. Actually, his game starts in about 5 minutes. I really hope he wins. But either way, he still did great. I'm SO PROUD OF HIM!!!!!!!!!!! :P

Sasha.
Well, I've been sick the past few days, but yesterday I decided to do something except read. So I started working on my moms present. It's basically a collage of things she loves in life. :) I hope I finish it in time. I should be able to. And I guess I'm going to have to help my brother figure out what to get her :)
I've also finally been doing some writing, so I'm REALLY glad about that :)

Love,

Sasha a.k.a Chocolate4ever :}

I am so tired. Just finished studying for a huge literature test for tommorow. That I only found out about today, due to my class having problems with their memories. I'm not kidding. I was sick the day they were told about the test :} Anyway, I'm turning in. Good night everyone...:) Happy First Day of Spring, I hope it was as awesome for you as it was for me :)

Yey, it's snowing! :) If we're going to live in the cold, might as well have snow :) It's so amazing. I love snow. It's inspiring, fun. It makes me smile :)

Friday, February 19, 2010

Wow, I haven't done a post in a LOOOONG time. I am really sorry about that. I have had a very long....month. A ton of things.

I worked a lot on my project, I'm finished by now. I've already been at one project...convention. It was a lot of fun. Well, except for the part when they lost my coat. Some REALLY cute guy found it on the 3rd floor of the school. Thank goodness! I had no idea what I was going to do, if I would've had to go out in to the -15C cold! :P

Other than that just school I guess....Valentines day was fun...We had a little mailbox by the secretary and my friends and I were in charge of it. It was fun, seeing peoples faces light up with smiles when they got a Valentine, seeing the eager kids pushing their way through, to see if they got something too :) Unfortunately, nobody understood our artwork...(no duh) The girls decided to paint the box black and paint hearts all over it...It doecn't look that bad...Ok, except for the black part. But hey, at least it was original. :}

I just looked out my window and felt inspired. Inspired to do something. Anything useful. Even HOMEWORK! It's just the view... The trees and the tall buildings and, most importantly, the setting sun all make life so beautiful.

I did a bit of writing, not much. I'm going to try and do more on the weekend. I've got a really great idea, so hopefully I'll get somewhere with whatever I write.

I'm also almost finished with my song. I sing all the time at home, and a lot of the times the tunes I'm humming are made up. SO I decided to try writing a song on the piano. And you know what? So far, so good :)
I know I've been really bad about posting. Sorry :} My life has been SO buisy. It seems like I've been going at FULL SPEED and finally I've come to an almost FULL STOP. Because I caught a little cold, thus giving me a day to rest and regain my strength. I'm going to need it.

Sunday, January 10, 2010

I really don't have any time right now. But I really felt like doing a quick post before going to bed. I can't believe I have to get up at 7 a.m. tommorow instead of 9. See, the Russian Christmas is on the 7th of January, so school only starts tommorow. I have no idea how i'm going to actually get up. That's probably going to be the hardest part.

Of course, I ended up doing nothing the whole week. And sometimes that's a very healthy thing to do. I just wish that the next 5 months won't be as hectic as I know they will be. Anyway I have to go if I want to get to school on time tommorow. Bye everybody. Wish me good luck, I'm going to need it :}

№2 - My trip to France. In pictures.

Hey guys, so here's post number two. :)

9. This is the view from the back window of one of the many restaurants of Chamonix. My dad found this one and we went there a couple of times. The food is great (the food's pretty much great everywhere, with a few rare exceptions) there :)

10. Same restaurant, the same view. :)

11. I took this on the walk back to our chalet . It was snowing SO hard that day. It was beautiful!

12. Also on the way back to the chalet. :) On that VERY snowy day. :)

13. The view from my window. :)

14. Once again, the view from my window :)

15. I'm pretty sure this is in Agantier :) That day was RAINY!!!!!!!!

16. The same place, same photo. The only difference is, I took this about 2 minutes later. Everything changes amazingly quickly in the mountains for some reason...

17. I don't remember where exactly this is. I'm guessing Agantier. I do know that I took it on a chair lift. :)

18. Le Tour...again. :}

19. I have NO idea where this is :}

20. This is on our last skiing day. I took this on our walk back to the chalet...Isn't it breathtaking?

21. The view from my window :) Once again.

22. On the walk to town.

Well, that's it. :) I hoped you liked my photos.

I would like to add that I had a ton of fun in France and that the mountains are one of the most beautiful places in the world. :)

Love Chocolate4ever. :)

№1 - My trip to France. In photos.

Hey everybody. I know I promised you I'd post the pictures from my trip. Hopefully they'll all be in order, so here goes:

1. This is the view from the window of the plane :) You may not believe it, but those are all clouds. :)

2. The resort we were at is Chamonix. Actually, that's the town where we lived. We went skiing in different parts that are all about 15 minutes appart from each other. There's Brevant, Flegue, Le Tour, Agantie and Le Zouch. (Sorry about the spelling, I'm not sure if that's spelled right.) The photo is looking at the mountains where Agantie is, but actually we went to Le Tour that day. If you were actually standing where I was when I was taking the photo, Le Tour would be to the left of you. :)

3.  Ok, so this is also in Le Tour. It's on one of the slopes. I fell off a lift (it pulls you on your skis/snow board) and I doodled that while I waited for my mom and brother to come down the slope. :) That was actually a lot of fun. Everyone kept skiing by, and some people stared at me, but I couldn't really tell what they were thinking because their faces were mostly covered.

4. This is one of my favorite photos. This is also Le Tour. It looks even more beautiful when you're actually there :) It's positively breathtaking.

5. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to flip the photo. This is also a very beautiful pic. Incidentally, it was also taken in Le Tour. I do have to say that it was probably the ski...resort with the most beautiful scenery. :) But don't be fooled, the scenery is beautiful everywhere!

6. I can't flip this photo either. :} Anyway, this is also Le Tour. And that's me on the photo :) I'm not very recobnizable, but at least I'm warm when I'm dressed like that it get's WINDY up there :)

7. Le Tour. Again. Isn't it beautiful? It still takes my breath away...

8. This is in Agantie. At first we thought that it was a tree, but it turned out to be a HUGE, ENORMOUS block of ice. :P

Ok, I think maybe because of the length of the post, my computer is starting to do funny things. So I'm going to stop this post and do a second one :)

Twilight.

I'm pretty sure most of you have heard of the book (and movie) Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer. It came out a few years ago and has become VERY popular. Almost all of my friends have at least read it and a few are CRAZY about it. So I spent a lot of last year listening to my friend go on and on about the books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) and, later on, the movie. By the end of the year, I didn't want to hear another word about Twilight again. But part of me wondered whether it was really that good. So I asked my dad to bring the first book from the US since it costs a ton to get the book in English here.

I have to say, I was amazed. I really liked the book. I was hooked after the first page. Despite the fact that it's about vampires (that was the reason I didn't want to read the book in the first place) the book is really good. It's interesting, it pools you right in. Twilight's the kind of book that, once you start reading it, you can't pool yourself away.

Despite everything I thought and everything I'd heared before I read Twilight, I enjoyed it very much. The ideas are very...different, unique. I can see why people like it. I guess that in some strange way we can relate to what happens in the book. Well, at least the, you know, romantic parts, and the parts about school...I'm glad I read Twilight and I can't wait to read the next book.

Maybe you'll give it a try too, if you already haven't.

Happy reading. :)

Happy New Year! Merry Christmas! :)

Well, I'm BAAAAAAAAAACK :) France was AMAZING!  BREATHTAKING! WONDERFUL!
I HAD SO MUCH FUN! :)

Sorry, I'm feeling kind of hyper right now :) But it was fun :) We went skiing every day, it didn't matter if it was raining, snowing, or so foggy that you could barely see a few feet in front of you :) My brother kept count of how many times I fell. I think the total was 43. I have to admit it is funny to see me fall :) At least most of the time.

Christmas and New Years was great. I had a lot of fun. Actually, I dressed up as a cat for New Years :D

But I'm back now and I still have a week off from school because the Russian Orthodox christmas is on the 7th of January :)

Hopefully a bit later I'll be able to post some photos later on.
