Finally!

Hey everybody :)

Ok, so after about 6-7 years of being tortured practically every day by my little brother (the age diference is 3 years. very bad age diference!) I have finally found a cure. At least I think so... I've tried everything. Seriously, everything.
I've tried to ignore him, but he goes after me and won't leave me alone at all. I've tried acting sweet and nice and kind, but that didn't work, of course. Seriously, it's hard. He get's mad at me for everything. And when he's not mad at me he's annoying me. Some times on purpose, others not. But when he's really not trying to annoy me, I'm a lot more patient. You can just see that gleem in his eyes when he's really really really really getting on my nerves. And believe me, he knows how to do that VERY well. But now I've finally found a way to beat him at his own game.
From now on, whenever he starts to bother me (on purpose) or when he gets mad at me for no realy reason, I'll act like the most annoying person on the planet, at least for him. I've figured it all out. It may not sound very nice, but it's the only way I can think of that might stop him. I'll stop the minute he quiets down and stuff. So basically it's like pushing a button that sets of the alarm. I'm the button, and if he pushes it, I act as the alarm. In this case, I get on his nerves. :)
The only thing I still have to figure out is how I'm going to protect myself. I seriously need to figure that out :}
I hope this works :) I really do :)

PS: How do you guys deal with younger sibblings? Please leave a comment about it, because it's always good to have a plan B :)

  1. Wow, what a breakthrough! I have struggled with sibling problems for a looong time. And trust me, I have tried out your idea or at least one like it! I find it really satisfying at the time being - but then we just start arguing more, etc. etc. So I always say to myself that I'll try a different approach, such as "Vera, can you please stop? Think of how annoying _______ would be to you." And I go off about "Vera, doggies don't want you to do this!" Or something else in that nature.

    Unfortunately, um, sometimes she's just too annoying and I let something slip.
    Ok, a lot of times:)

    But I don't know how it would work with your brother...so try it and see how it goes:) It's tempting:)

  3. yeah, he got REALLY mad and started shouting that it wasn't fair. but I am not giving up, maybe I won't annoy him all the time, but everybody has to learn how to treat others at some point...right?

  4. ok, go to Page Elements. you'll have gadgets to your left and then to your right, it will say: Blog or: Your Blog. At the bottom of that square it will say: Edit. Click on that and you should see those label things :)

  5. Wait so he got mad at you when you were being annoying? Yeah I would try to not be super annoying, but you should teach him a little bit about how you want to be treated! Hehehe...

    Thanks for the info:)
