I just looked out my window and felt inspired. Inspired to do something. Anything useful. Even HOMEWORK! It's just the view... The trees and the tall buildings and, most importantly, the setting sun all make life so beautiful.

I did a bit of writing, not much. I'm going to try and do more on the weekend. I've got a really great idea, so hopefully I'll get somewhere with whatever I write.

I'm also almost finished with my song. I sing all the time at home, and a lot of the times the tunes I'm humming are made up. SO I decided to try writing a song on the piano. And you know what? So far, so good :)
I know I've been really bad about posting. Sorry :} My life has been SO buisy. It seems like I've been going at FULL SPEED and finally I've come to an almost FULL STOP. Because I caught a little cold, thus giving me a day to rest and regain my strength. I'm going to need it.

I really don't have any time right now. But I really felt like doing a quick post before going to bed. I can't believe I have to get up at 7 a.m. tommorow instead of 9. See, the Russian Christmas is on the 7th of January, so school only starts tommorow. I have no idea how i'm going to actually get up. That's probably going to be the hardest part.

Of course, I ended up doing nothing the whole week. And sometimes that's a very healthy thing to do. I just wish that the next 5 months won't be as hectic as I know they will be. Anyway I have to go if I want to get to school on time tommorow. Bye everybody. Wish me good luck, I'm going to need it :}

№2 - My trip to France. In pictures.

Hey guys, so here's post number two. :)

9. This is the view from the back window of one of the many restaurants of Chamonix. My dad found this one and we went there a couple of times. The food is great (the food's pretty much great everywhere, with a few rare exceptions) there :)

10. Same restaurant, the same view. :)

11. I took this on the walk back to our chalet . It was snowing SO hard that day. It was beautiful!

12. Also on the way back to the chalet. :) On that VERY snowy day. :)

13. The view from my window. :)

14. Once again, the view from my window :)

15. I'm pretty sure this is in Agantier :) That day was RAINY!!!!!!!!

16. The same place, same photo. The only difference is, I took this about 2 minutes later. Everything changes amazingly quickly in the mountains for some reason...

17. I don't remember where exactly this is. I'm guessing Agantier. I do know that I took it on a chair lift. :)

18. Le Tour...again. :}

19. I have NO idea where this is :}

20. This is on our last skiing day. I took this on our walk back to the chalet...Isn't it breathtaking?

21. The view from my window :) Once again.

22. On the walk to town.

Well, that's it. :) I hoped you liked my photos.

I would like to add that I had a ton of fun in France and that the mountains are one of the most beautiful places in the world. :)

Love Chocolate4ever. :)

№1 - My trip to France. In photos.

Hey everybody. I know I promised you I'd post the pictures from my trip. Hopefully they'll all be in order, so here goes:

1. This is the view from the window of the plane :) You may not believe it, but those are all clouds. :)

2. The resort we were at is Chamonix. Actually, that's the town where we lived. We went skiing in different parts that are all about 15 minutes appart from each other. There's Brevant, Flegue, Le Tour, Agantie and Le Zouch. (Sorry about the spelling, I'm not sure if that's spelled right.) The photo is looking at the mountains where Agantie is, but actually we went to Le Tour that day. If you were actually standing where I was when I was taking the photo, Le Tour would be to the left of you. :)

3.  Ok, so this is also in Le Tour. It's on one of the slopes. I fell off a lift (it pulls you on your skis/snow board) and I doodled that while I waited for my mom and brother to come down the slope. :) That was actually a lot of fun. Everyone kept skiing by, and some people stared at me, but I couldn't really tell what they were thinking because their faces were mostly covered.

4. This is one of my favorite photos. This is also Le Tour. It looks even more beautiful when you're actually there :) It's positively breathtaking.

5. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to flip the photo. This is also a very beautiful pic. Incidentally, it was also taken in Le Tour. I do have to say that it was probably the ski...resort with the most beautiful scenery. :) But don't be fooled, the scenery is beautiful everywhere!

6. I can't flip this photo either. :} Anyway, this is also Le Tour. And that's me on the photo :) I'm not very recobnizable, but at least I'm warm when I'm dressed like that it get's WINDY up there :)

7. Le Tour. Again. Isn't it beautiful? It still takes my breath away...

8. This is in Agantie. At first we thought that it was a tree, but it turned out to be a HUGE, ENORMOUS block of ice. :P

Ok, I think maybe because of the length of the post, my computer is starting to do funny things. So I'm going to stop this post and do a second one :)

Twilight.

I'm pretty sure most of you have heard of the book (and movie) Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer. It came out a few years ago and has become VERY popular. Almost all of my friends have at least read it and a few are CRAZY about it. So I spent a lot of last year listening to my friend go on and on about the books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) and, later on, the movie. By the end of the year, I didn't want to hear another word about Twilight again. But part of me wondered whether it was really that good. So I asked my dad to bring the first book from the US since it costs a ton to get the book in English here.

I have to say, I was amazed. I really liked the book. I was hooked after the first page. Despite the fact that it's about vampires (that was the reason I didn't want to read the book in the first place) the book is really good. It's interesting, it pools you right in. Twilight's the kind of book that, once you start reading it, you can't pool yourself away.

Despite everything I thought and everything I'd heared before I read Twilight, I enjoyed it very much. The ideas are very...different, unique. I can see why people like it. I guess that in some strange way we can relate to what happens in the book. Well, at least the, you know, romantic parts, and the parts about school...I'm glad I read Twilight and I can't wait to read the next book.

Maybe you'll give it a try too, if you already haven't.

Happy reading. :)

Happy New Year! Merry Christmas! :)

Well, I'm BAAAAAAAAAACK :) France was AMAZING!  BREATHTAKING! WONDERFUL!
I HAD SO MUCH FUN! :)

Sorry, I'm feeling kind of hyper right now :) But it was fun :) We went skiing every day, it didn't matter if it was raining, snowing, or so foggy that you could barely see a few feet in front of you :) My brother kept count of how many times I fell. I think the total was 43. I have to admit it is funny to see me fall :) At least most of the time.

Christmas and New Years was great. I had a lot of fun. Actually, I dressed up as a cat for New Years :D

But I'm back now and I still have a week off from school because the Russian Orthodox christmas is on the 7th of January :)

Hopefully a bit later I'll be able to post some photos later on.
